Fans
concerned as squad scroll bar now only just needed
Fans of Boston United have voiced their concerns about the squad profile section on the club's official web site following startling revelations that the scrollable feature was only barely required. Official studies conducted on the site have shown that the Boston United squad is now so small that moving the bar down now only reveals one more player - prolific hitman Daryl Clare. Worried fans pitched their concerns to manager Steve Evans on his second question and answer session today (Thursday) with important Boston fan Bob Mugfret-Fishhead asking: 'Does the fact that the scroll-bar now only moves very slightly a concern Steve, especially since earlier in the season it was very small and was free to move up and down considerably?' Steve Evans offered a typically robust response. 'I've called long-time friend Howard Nuttblow at Maslow, who designed the website,' said Evans, 'and warned him that next season I'll need a scroll bar the size of an atom, we'll have that many players. 'Of course, he'll be the first to know as and when this is required. But I can assure you that the scroll-bar will be invisible to the naked eye once I've been issued my considerable transfer funds in June, for which, incidentally, I'd liketo thank my friends at Zebra Finance.' |
