2008/2009 Predictions - Adam 'Ocid Town' Hildred

Who is going to walk away with the 2008/2009 NPL title?
If anyone is going to walk away with it I suppose it would be Bankrupt PA.

What are your realistic expectations for Boston?
I can't see us not being up there challenging... Bar Craney we've kept all our leading players from last year and I like the ones we've added. Also, with 1,800(00) in the Town End behind the team every week I expect us to hand out some mullerings at home.

Which away trip are you most looking forward to?
I'm inclined to say the Lincs Senior Shield game at Spalding. However I might have to go and find out what Ocid Town are all about...

Which team do you most want to see Boston absolutely tear apart 12-0?
I'd like to say FCUM, but I just can't find much to hate about them. I suppose it's easy to appear friendly when you're tearing through the lower leagues. I'll have to plump for BPA.

What's the worst joke you've ever heard?
I'll go for 'the uneducated attempt to be funny' answer and say the announcement that the FA has refused the demotion appeal.

Who would win in a game of Monopoly: sinister ex-Boston chairman Jon Sotnick or sinister Bradford Park Avenue(1988) chairman Bob Blackburn?
Ex-Boston chairman Jon Sotnick. I imagine Steve Evans would CHEAT for him by printing FRAUDULENT "get out of jail free" cards and PASSING them to him in game.

Will you be taking the Harry Ramsden's fish and chip challenge in Guiseley? If so, provide an estimate of time elapsed between first forkful and last forkful, to the nearest second.
No. I could not possibly eat that much without collapsing in the middle. Some parallels with the running of the Santa Fun Run there.

Which away trip would you happily gouge your own eyes out to avoid?
North Ferriby United are the clear "winners" on a tie-breaker of "which one involved travelling near Hull in the journey."

Which is your favourite ship built by the world famous Cammell Laird shipyard?
HMS Ark Royal. By the looks of it though I reckon that wreck near Haven Bridge is more modern than the ancient rafts produced at the Cammell Laird shipyard.

Who is going to be Boston's key player this season?
If I actually ever picked up anything tactically in a game I'd probably say a centre half or centre midfielder. But with the only other senior midfielders being crocked Talbot and Faz, we'll probably need Jon Rowan to step up to the plate again. Therefore, he has apparently not been to training yet this season. Hopefully he's one of those Tommy mentioned as being on holiday.
