Adam
Upsall, impsTALK deputy
Despite the fact he lives in Leeds, likes cricket and owns a
Mac, we reckon Upsall's opinion is still worth airing. A bit. So
here are his predictions for the 07/08 season.....
Who
is going to walk away with the 2008/2009 NPL title?
The obvious BPA and Leigh with the blank cheque approach may not
actually do it in the hoofball wasteland of the NPL, I'm going
to stick my neck out and go for the side that just missed out
last year, Witton Albion.
What
are your realistic expectations for Boston?
As with everyone else who has not said win it, play-offs. Anything
less will be a very poor season.

Which
away trip are you most looking forward to?
I've got a few on the doorstep which I'm very pleased about but the
only one I'm looking forward to over any others is FC United for the
simple fact it will be a decent crowd and, hopefully, a good atmosphere.
Which
team do you most want to see Boston absolutely tear apart 12-0?
As many as possible? Nah I'd love it (in the Keegan sense) to thump
BPA at home and Leigh away in their new mega-bowl stadium thing.
What's the worst joke you've
ever heard?
How many Tinpot Trinity fans does it take to go to a Boxing Day game?
26. Not so much a joke as a FACT.
Who
would win in a game of Monopoly: sinister ex-Boston chairman Jon Sotnick
or sinister Bradford Park Avenue(1988) chairman Bob Blackburn?
Sotnick would bring in Mickey Chinn and his heavies to scare Big Bad
Bob but he would pay them off with a massive bunch of Monopoly money
from another copy of the game. No winner as they will both sod off before
it's either finished or in any fit state for someone to take over.
Will
you be taking the Harry Ramsden's fish and chip challenge in Guiseley?
If so, provide an estimate of time elapsed between first forkful and
last forkful, to the nearest second.
I can tell you now (as I've already been) it's not worth it. Go to Murgatroyds
in Yeadon just down the road. But for the record 4m 38s.
Which
away trip would you happily gouge your own eyes out to avoid?
Ashton United away. My other half tells me we are doing something else
that day (Important best man Bob Mugfret-Fishhead is already preparing
his speech - ed)
Which
is your favourite ship built by the world famous Cammell Laird shipyard?
Ma Roberts, built in 1858 for Dr. Livingstone's Zambezi expedition,
obviously.
Who is going to be Boston's key
player this season?
Wes Parker probably but if we really are hitting the heights we should
be then maybe Ollie Ryan. So Ollie Ryan.
